Bullshit! Is the word that comes to mind when I hear someone talking about targeted fat loss or spot reduction.
If you’re a beginner to workouts and you are approaching someone for help( a trainer) and if he/she tells you that he can help you in targeted fat loss;then you’ve met one of the so called fake trainers.
Even if it’s to attract more clients, as trainers we are not supposed to misguide anyone. It’s sad to say that I’ve heard this from many seniors that are in fitness industry when I was a fresher .
I didn’t mean to let you down guys ,but there isn’t a short cut or a thing a spot reduction. It maybe a tempting thing to hear. Unfortunately our bodies don’t work that way.
So , if you’re stuck with your fitness goals ! Please do get help from professionals. Because the false hope that you make you get a kick start will eventually let you down in the long run.
I didn’t mean to offend anyone out there.But it’s for those of you who are going to start with their first step. So that you won’t be left out with unachieved fitness goals.
